Access to records containing personal information where Juikonet has possession or contorl of a record that contains personal information, the individual concerned shall be entitled to have access to that record. Juikonet will strive to check the accuracy of personal information in accordance to Principle 8 of Section fourteen of the Privacy Act. However, due to the nature of the medium of the Internet, the accuracy of content posted dynamically either through the message posting system or through the interactive forms cannot be monitored. Also, in accordance to Article eighteen of the Universal Declaration of HUman Rights 1951, everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, including the freedom to change his or her religion or believe, and freedom to manifest his or her religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance. Article nineteen of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights also states that everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression, including the freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, recieve and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers. Therefore, Juikonet has a policy of freedom of speech whether it be an editorial or a post on the messaging system. Although the Constitution or Acts of the Commonwealth of Australia does not provide us with such a freedom, it is a right granted by the United Nations. Any attempt to otherwise disuade Juikonet and its users from expressing their opinion will be in breach of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This is the biggest bunch of b*lls*it I have written since the IPT exam.
