Welcome to Juiko.net 2006-05-22 For the first time in 15 months, I've stepped foot inside this website, only to find a complete mess. I might just provide an update on where everything is at right now. I'm still studying, doing 4th year of Arts/Commerce at University of Sydney. If you see me on the train and I give you a blank look, I do remember you... I just tend to daze off and blank out. Come and say hi to me anyway. Still working at Kmart, still working in the layby section. It will be 6 years in June I would have been working there. It's a decent job, otherwise I wouldn't still be there. And I might bag it out a lot, but I would never quit it unless I had to. I walk through the store in casual clothes, and I still get customers asking me questions. And I answer them. There's the regular customers who come in every week, some of them good, some of them not so good, some of them smelly. I'm now also working at a recruitment company, currently I'm there Tuesdays and Thursdays. Been there for about 9 months. It started off as an internship program for 6 months, but while everyone else dropped off or finished, I somehow stayed on. It's a good way to see what happens in recruitment, both the good, bad and the ugly. It's surprisingly tiring sitting at a computer all day, but it's something that I thought I would never be able to do. If anyone wants to work in an outbound telemarketing call centre, let me know! Still doing things in St John, I try to do something whenever I can. Went to the Story of the Year/Flogging Molly concert last week and that was ace. Currently doing the website for the Work and Organisational Studies Society (WOSOC), a student society for HR/IR and Management students. It's at www.wosoc.org. Yes I know the web design sucks, I've got a new one created I've just got to load all the content onto it. I do Taekwondo at Sydney Uni whenever I can, it's a bit of exercise something to keep me fit. I'm on a yellow belt with green tip, and not looking to grade any higher because I can't do the jumping kicks.
